Silva is a big fan of spending time in the sun, sand, and surf. The pageant girl loves to spend time by the beach and in the water. She has posted several stunning photos and videos on Instagram of herself enjoying days at the beach. Spending time at the beach is a great way to get Vitamin D and as a way to relax. According to the University of New Hampshire, “The calming effects of the waves and sun combined is enough to make a person leave their stress behind. The heat of the sun, the sound of the waves, and your feet in the sand can help to fight off any feelings of anxiety and stress.”

Spending time at the beach and pool isn’t the only outdoor activity Silva likes to do. She is also a fan of hiking and spending time in nature. Silva posted this series of photos on Instagram of herself going on a hike in the woods, and even taking a ride on an ATV. She captioned the post, “Live to the extreme, as if it were the last and without fear of enjoying yourself to the limit.”

Silva has videotaped herself on the treadmill. Here’s a treadmill workout from the Mayo Clinic:

“This is an advanced workout. It is similar to a HIIT (high intensity interval training) style cardio/ strength workout that is completed all on the treadmill. It will take about 25 minutes to complete the workout (plus warm up and cool down). Be sure to grab on to the handles for support. Feel free to adjust treadmill incline and speed as needed. To modify you can do the workout on a flat treadmill and work your way up to an incline. To advance the workout, jog during the ‘1-2 minute walk’. Modify any exercises as needed. Enjoy!

Spend 5-8 mins walking/jogging on the treadmill. Get your body moving and heart rate up! Feel free to stretch out any muscles before starting. Preform exercise for 2 minutes then walk for 1-2 minutes. Be sure to grab on to side handles as needed. Adjust incline and speed as needed.

Set treadmill at 10-13% incline, speed 0.7-1.5.

  1. Walking lunges – 2 mins
  2. Walk 1-2 mins
  3. Duck walks/squatted walk – 2 mins
  4. Walk 1-2 mins
  5. Sideways walks (one side, stay low in squat position and shuffle sideways) – 2 mins
  6. Walk 1-2 mins
  7. Sideways walks (other side, stay low in squat position and shuffle sideways) – 2 mins
  8. Walk 1-2 mins
  9. Military lunges (lunge with a high knee step) – 2 mins

  11. Backward duck walk/backward squatted walk – 2 mins

  13. Cool down: Walk at a comfortable speed while slowly lowering your incline all the way down. Take 5-10 minutes and stretch after.”

While Silva is a gorgeous woman, she hasn’t always seen herself in that light. Silva revealed that she used to be very insecure with her body, and developed an eating disorder. In an interview with Mexican talk show, Venga La Alegria, Silva talked about her story. “I looked at myself in the mirror and I got desperate because I did not see myself as I wanted to be. I did not do my part – I didn’t have the best diet and I did not exercise – but at that time I was too young to know how to get fit or how to get the body I really wanted.” Silva said that she developed anxiety around food and exercise, and was briefly hospitalized.

“GRACIAS Dios porque he vivido 30 años de mi vida muy pero muy feliz, sana y rodeada de amor… 🙏🏻💗 Mil gracias a todos por sus mensajes de cariño, lo valoro mucho. 🙌🏻,” she once posted. Translation: “THANK YOU God because I have lived 30 years of my life very, very happy, healthy and surrounded by love… 🙏🏻💗 Thank you all for your messages of love, I appreciate it very much. 🙌🏻”
