According to participant Kwame Appiah from season four, Lifetime’s “Married at First Sight” and Netflix’s “Love Is Blind” have now officially crossed paths. It appears that Appiah’s search for love on reality TV didn’t start with the connections he made with Micah Lussier and Chelsea Griffin of “Love Is Blind” this season. Instead, it appears that his journey began in 2019 when he made an appearance on “Married at First Sight”; fans have discovered a clip of him on an episode.
“Yeah Kwame,” a Twitter user remarked with a resurrected video showing Appiah watching a wedding on the program while sitting in the audience on March 30.
This one requires explanation. You’ve appeared on every show seeking for a wife. Appiah’s appearance on the popular Lifetime series, which follows a group of singles who married their chosen partner after their first encounter at the altar, was brief, according to Entertainment Tonight, because viewers never saw him partnered with anyone. When POPSUGAR reached out to Netflix and Appiah’s representatives for comment, they did not respond right away. Although his experience in the Netflix series “Love Is Blind” hasn’t been without its share of ups and downs, it appears that “Love Is Blind” is the only other dating show he’s appeared on since then.
Viewers have seen Appiah navigate his tumultuous love triangle with Griffin and Lussier after the latter broke up with him in all of the episodes of “Love is Blind” season four that have already aired.
