If you’ve been reading Who What Wear UK regularly, you know that we’ve long been supporters of the easy, throw-on dress. Over the years, we’ve compiled a sort of little black book of dress labels that we resort to each season, from designer to high street, well-known and undiscovered.
One of those less well-known and more reasonably priced brands that we’re finding ourselves very impressed with right now is Nobody’s Child. Since their 2015 inception, they have concentrated their efforts on making ethically produced clothing at a reasonable price, pledging to employ ethical textiles, reduce waste, and always be transparent with their methods. The fact that the designs are realistic and built for everyday use also helps. Three ticks in a row.
You might have already be familiar with the brand, particularly since it is now available on the M&S website and has famous fans like Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton, and Britney Spears (yes). If you’re not aware, the line also contains adorable tops, matching sets, and jeans, but the standout pieces are the adaptable dresses.
They’re the kind of throw-on patterns that go with heels, sandals, and trainers just as easily as floral wedding guest dresses or gingham day dresses. All of them cost less than £100, and many of the best-selling items are available up to size 24. The best part? When we say easy to wear, we really mean it because you can wear a bra with the majority of them.
